I just received 3 mails: 2 snail mails and 1 email.
All three are useless.
Mail 1 was read with a little excitement initially. Apparantly, i got selected for the interview for the post of pilot in the air force! Of course, i'd decided long ago that i'll prefer to stay in Commandos, but i spent a few minutes mulling over how nice (and profitable) it'll be to be a pilot. Then i realised i'm already bonded to SIA cause of the scholarship, so there's no way i can join the air force and sign on. (anyway, who the heck would wanna sell their life away to the stupid SAF? hee.. sorry regulars and would-be regulars, thats the way i feel) Dang! so dreams of being a pilot would just have to remain as that: dreams.
Mail 2 was from the NS insurance company telling me they'd deduct money from my account. Okkkaaayyy.. wasnt that in the contract already? why do they waste money and paper telling us this sort of thing?
Email 3 was a rejection letter from the Firefly scholarship board. Notice that it comes like 2.5 months after my (slightly disastrous) final interview with the "im a bastard and im short" EDB chairman and his crazy committee (including the Toshiba chairman who doesnt understand a word of english). Notice that they addressed it as "Dear Applicant" instead of "Dear Mr Yeo". Notice that they dont realise they wasted my 4 months comprising of 5 rounds of gruelling interviews and stress from booking out multiple times from camp. Ahhhh.. who cares..

When i make it big in SIA, i shall ban that shorty EDB chairman from all my flights, so he'll never be able to take a holiday!! hahahaah!
