oh yeah... regarding a comment to my bad generalization last week. For the uneducated, i made a really bad statement suan-ing arts fac people. Please dont take it the wrong way ya. I have nothing against arts fac people. In fact,i think they're a whole lot more fun to talk to than science fac people. One of my best friends, Nolan, is from arts fac too.
Gotta understand i was really pissed off that day and, well, needed someone to insult. I apologize.
(Still, you cant deny that there ARE such people in the world, and lots of them come from arts fac. But yes yes they're not like that.)
Still, i apologize for my rash statement last tuesday. Forgive and forget?

"Computers were put on this earth to drive us mad" Me, 11.29pm, yesterday.
Yes yes im back! after a one week absence from blogging (gasp how could i even have done it?) *cold turkey shudders* Our hero has come back to blog, our hero, a glorious year older at 18 (yup, the legal age to buy and consume alcohol, smoke, take a driving test, go clubbing, and pretend that im old enough to watch an R(A) movie) Ah yes.. to be 18.. the beginning of the end of teenhood.
Im a whole lot happier than when i last logged in an entry.. (take a look at last tuesday's entry... the words of a pissed of, hate-the-world, personal-crusade-against-all-my-enemies, hate-tuesday attitude person.)
Still, i AM a little peeved off at stupid CMPB's website. apparantly they havent processed some stupid admin detail so i cant change my medical examination date. Computers are a pernicious disease which will one day conspire to produce a huge techno-monster known as the Overlord, which will turn all humans which have fallen under its spell into either a)mindless slaves or b)as a source of bioenergy to power its legions of Supercomputer Sentinals which will patrol the Earth eliminating all the pirates like Morpehus, Neo and Trinity. (Gee that sounds a lot like National Service doncha think?) Heh. As you can see, Im pretty excited about
-MATRIX RELOADED-
oh yeaahh baby yeah.
Let's torture you with sordid details of my birthday 25th of April Friday:
6.25am: Wore loose underwear so it could tear easily when i get wedgied.
7.00am: Realised too late on my way to school i forgot to bring extra underwear.
7.25am: Gingerly walked into the council room, got wedgied, underwear torn into shreds (literally). Innermost secrets spilling out of my pants. (literally) Got "poled" with a ladder thanks to overenthusiastic council buddies. Borrowed my classmate's underwear to wear to save my modesty for the rest of the day.
9.15am: Almost got wedgied again by overenthusiastic classmates.
Till 4.50: Happy birthday to you... by teachers, JC1s and 2s who arent as crazy as councillors.
5.00pm: Life concert! Wonderful time praising God.
7.00pm: Got whacked, using SAS prefect's tradition (Im from SJI dammit!) That means, to be lifted up by all the guys, and kicked in the butt and thighs 18 times. And i thought Life concert was supposed to make everyone holy.. or at least decent.
7.30pm: Whacked roxanne accidentally with an umbrella. Oops. Felt really sorry.
7.35pm: Got blindfolded by SCGS council gang and bundled into a taxi. Taxi drives off in true kidnapping style. Have no idea where im going.
7.50pm: Reach unknown destination clutching a bagful of presents, an umbrella, and my weigh-a-ton schoolbag. Still blindfolded. Become aware of lots of council people around me, mainly because i was jabbed in the ribs by more times than Jacky Chan would.
8.00pm: Dimly aware Im at a restaurant. Lead to a table, blindfold off, SURPRISE! its fish and co at glass house!
8.15pm: Zhan Xiang buys a new wallet for me. Attempts to stuff all the cards in but fails miserably. Very happy. I really needed a new wallet. Heartily tucks into a seafood platter for two with nolan, isky and zhan xiang. The other people were too far away for me to steal their food. Played this inane game where i attempted to prove Iskandar masturbuates, but failed. (i still think he does) Xia lan-ed my "wife" Yen Yen at the same game, making her say she has big boobs (yes we're very mature i know)
9.00pm: Nolan and Isky attempt to make an announcement but is inturrupted by Iskandar 2, a plump funky waiter at fish and co. He grabs a microphone and me and drags us to the centre of the restaurant together with another girl celebrating her 22nd birthday. Whole company of councillors comes along. I have devil's horns placed onto my head and made to say "Yeah baby yeah" into the mic. Next, had to lick whipped cream off a table and down a shot of this strong sickeningly sweet concentrate. (i won, of course heh)
Next, together with the birthday girl and whole bunch of secetaies celebrating Secetaries' Week, had to perform the fish and co dance in front of the whole restaurant. If that's not enough, Mr Im-So-Extra Waiter asks me to solo dance for everyone. Whoopeedoo! Still, managed to pull off an impromtu one. Got a Fish soft toy for my efforts. Was embarrassing yet exhilarating.
9.30: Back to the safety of the table, Nolan and Isky make their announcement and reveal: A BRAND NEW CLIVE BAG! I'm overjoyed. Now the 3 of us have the same bag (aw...) I hug everyone.
10.00pm: We give fish and co a taste of SA's 3 Basic Cheers. We go home, i feel a fuzzy feeling of happiness inside. -sigh-
Best Birthday i've ever had. If any of the 25th Council's reading this, i thank God everyday for you. :)

Life can be deadlier than Saddam Hussein.
Yes. Its armed with a deadly arsenal of bad experiences, extreme frustrations and not to mention those little peevy moments when you cant find the remote control, connect to the internet, etc. (or for that matter, lose your phone.)
Wait, or as my economics tutor would say, "chope ah", im sounding like one of those horrible-artsy-poseurish-perfect-grammer-chim-vocaubulary-with-extreme-cynism-for-life people (most commonly found in arts fac students or in people who score As for GP regularly.. no offence. Im just doing a bad generalization)
Well you can tell from the bad attitude that ive just had a very bad day. And yup, what better way to let it all out than to complain about it here for all the world to see? Marvellous things, these blogs. Of course, ice cream, an ace ventura movie (or any brainless equivilant), instant noodles and a 1.5l bottle of pepsi can do the same thing but its a hell lot more expensive.
Peeve number 1: Its tuesday. Stupid tuesday. The majority of my classmates who've dropped Econs and Chinese have THREE periods of lessons today. THREE. Just to let you know of my timetable, its Econs lecture, Maths tutorial, Econs double tutorial, break (of which i have to do service counter duty), chem tutorial, chinese tutorial, break (finally!), chinese double tutorial, physics tutorial. Yes. Which means i have five MORE periods of lessons than anybody else today. And of course, im officially the only idiot in class still taking 6 subjects (the rest have already dropped at least one). Also, did i mention i have all tutorials today save for GP? (thank goodness) Which means all assignments and tutorials have to be done by today, which would have been possible if i took 3 subjects, but nope, i take four, which means chem is still half done.
Peeve number 2: Service counter duty. Yes, yes, its for the service of the college blah blah. Takes up the entire break, have to sit next to one of my dropped-econs-and-chinese-so-i-have-all the-time-in-the-world friends. (no offence to this person mentioned. he's a good friend and all, i just hate it when people have more free time than me.) SC duty makes me go hungry for the rest of the day too since i have no time to eat.
Peeve number 3: I lost my Parents-meet-tutor form, my A level timetable and my Chem block test. Yes all in one fell swoop. Bloody stupid. I dont know where the hell they are. I definitely do not recall taking them out of my bag nor leaving them lying around anywhere. They were safely in my bag until i needed them. Thats when they disappear. Strange. The same thing happened to my old phone too. Perhaps im being stalked by some bloody invisible thief, who's got nothing better to do. return me my stuff dammit. ITS SERIOUSLY IRRITATING not being able to find your stuff and not knowing why you lost them. i should stop talking in short sentences.
Hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate ARRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh okiegetaholdofyourselflionel.
Peeve Number 4: I received my chinese results. I got a grand total of 46%. Pathetic. I sure hope i improve before June.
Peeve Number 5: Started sniffling and neck-scratching after cleaning out the council room. You wont believe the amount of trash, shit, DUST, and more DUST, wrappers, cockroaches, lizards, etc present in one room. You could just die from the contaminated air. Yup. And of course my wonderful body reacted to it really well by starting to sneeze and itch. Lasted all the bloody way home. And tomorrow, some of the councillors will probable step into the room, comment "wow! its so nice/spacious/cool/etc" and promptly proceed to mess it up again. Le Chatlier's Principle being applied here yes?
Oh yes... its just one of those days. -sigh- But you know what im starting to feel better after typing it all out. I hope lotsa people read it because... i dunno. i just like washing dirty linen. I'll eat a nice bowl of instant noodles after this, sleep before 12, and tomorrow will be a beautiful, fresh, and brand new day. (and hopefully i'll find my bloody chem block test one and A level timetable.

"For many the term SCIENCE refers to the organized body of knowledge concerning the physical world, both animate and inanimate, but proper definition would also have to include the attitudes and methods through which this body of knowledge is formed; thus, a science is both a particular kind of activity and also the results of that activity"
---------------- what kind of stupid definition is that?

Ta-dah! Im in GP class doing research now.
Well... "research" anyway.we're supposed to look up on info about scientific development. How lame is that?
Hmm.. This is fun! Im with half my GP class in the library (the half which admitted they didnt do page one of the Science and Technology notes. The other half was smarter. They scribbled something on page one and pretended they did it. And to think i naively did the rest of the work. *grumble*)
Im starting to hate GP. Why oh why oh why oh why couldnt i have had a beautiful, intelligent, humourous, spontaneous teacher? (like a certain GP teacher in my band? Yes yes...
Im resigned to my fate. But to be sent out of class by Mrs Im-Too-Crabby-So-I-Shant-Be-Named is just crossing the line.
Yes my class mates are looking over my shoulder now. Isnt it exciting?
Just dont tell anyone i mentioned this.
Shall update later

Wow... its been awhile since ive posted anything!
Right.. so .. update on Lionel's life (actually, why would anyone wanna know? But oh well, if you're here i suppose you do wanna know. Haha)
Orientation, surprisingly, went better than expected. The JC1s looked like they were having alot of fun, despite not having station games or finale.. the council did our best to make the most of that one day.. and hey i guess they appreciated it! Yay!
And its a huge relief.. knowing that i wouldnt have to do another orientation again.. -whew-
It was stressful... have you ever been through 8 hours of continous, back breaking pressure? Thats what MC-ing for orientation's like. Try coming up with witty lines and annectodes about school life while speaking to 800 people for a whole day. Its quite an experience. I succumbed to letting fly my deadly arsenal of corny/lame puns. Egg sellers have never been happier.
Well, it all worked out in the end: JC1s happy, Council's happy, teachers happy (i hope), me happy! Alright then. Im sounding a lot more optimistic than my previous entry. Heh. Looks like i AM laughing at myself.
Back to school again... Been doing pretty okay so far.. Just received my Block Test results. You decide if they're good or bad.
GP: 45 (wad rubbish! this is injustice..)
Maths: 74 (B) (One smelly mark to A)
Econs: 56 (C) (Another piece of rubbish)
Physics: 69 (B)
Chem: Havent gotten it back yet but ive got a feeling im gonna fail.. maybe about 45 or something (i hope)
Maths was surprising. I thought the paper was really screwed up. Guess i was lucky.. whoohoo.. to think i almost got an A! I used to think an A in JC life is improbable (not impossible, just improbable)
In my opinion, i think its pretty okay overall... BBC! Some people would kill to get those grades so i should be grateful (geddit? GRADE-ful. Heh. Oh no help me. Orientation lameness hasnt worn off yet)
Dont look at stupid chem. I can never understand why i dont do well for chem papers. Its not like i dont study. Grr. Oh well. Who wants to be a stuffy old chemist anyway?
Right. I think i'd better start advertising this page. No one seems to know i have it. Whats the point of having a blog when no one reads it? -grumble-
"I need a girl to ride ride ride,
i need a girl to be my wife,
i need a girl who's mine oh mine
i need a girl in my life!" -------------- P Diddy "I Need A Girl"
Love that song. Inane lyrics perhaps.. but nice rapping. And yes, i need a girl. Singlehood sucks.

Orientation tomorrow.. or actually, today since its past midnight.
well technically, not much of an orientation (1 frigging day..) but i suppose we have to make the best of it.
Sheesh. i miss the lovely times when council was preparing for the biggest event in the history of the world, Orientation 1, with two sets of station games, a really funky party and a huge campfire finale.
Stupid sars. STOOPID SARS!
Yes im sounding immature. I dont care. I hate sars. Its screwing up everything.
Yet, there's a certain air of anticipation about this orientation 2, even though its such a small event. Maybe its because there's that huge possibility that so many things could screw up tmr. (or today). Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see. Im an overobsessive worrier anyway. Let me give you an idea of the number of things i have to do in the short span of 7am to 730am on friday:
Change into dance costume
Dance blocking tryout on stage
Council briefing
Meet performance groups CCA heads to brief them
Brief concert backstage crew
soundcheck for performance groups.
Worry.
Pray.
Look absolutely cool and cheerful so the JC1s dont suspect a thing.
All this before assembly!
Whoohoo! Stressenathan son of beinkimama!
in 24 hours, i'll probably look at this entry and laugh at myself for being so paranoid. But we shall see.
This orientation WILL succeed. -determined-

Last day of the quarantine... Hmm. How should i make the most of today? Go underwear shopping? Pig out at fish and co? (and have that yummy icy smoothie thingie?) sleep? Nah... think i'll go study my chem for tmr's test. (yes. i dont have a life)
Sad huh. Well i just wrote a rap. Its quite cool. And it actually sounds nice! Hope i dont screw it up on friday tho.
I love this blog!!
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
Its finally done.. except for links and pictures.. but i can finally tell other people about it. Bwahaha!
Ok i know this isnt interesting at all. Think its because i havent accomplished anything significant today. I shall go study and come back to write more interesting crap. Seeya!

Hey hey its Tuesday morning... and i just missed the pilot episode of Friends. Grr. Its a long story but it involves my TV not working while i was at tuition so i couldnt tape it. I screamed into the night and woke up some residents at Bishan. No no i was kidding. I didnt scream but i did squash a few ants in frustration. Oh well, life goes on.
I shant bother to edit this blog till the distant future arrives. Apparently, i fell asleep while editing it last night and woke up only to discover i was logged on for 11 hours. Crap. Guilt cloud hanging over me for the whole day so i didnt go online even when i wanted to.
Scary Movie 2 is rip roaringly funny at some parts. Eg Nike Advertisement thingie.. watch it if you havent. Its hopelessly crass and vulgar but everyone needs these kinda movies once in awhile yes?
Am currently attempting to write a rap for council intro now. Wish me luck.
I know im typing hopelessly short sentences but i cant help it... 11 hours of guilt is hanging over my head.
Shall return and update once its gone... haha!

Help. I just realised the lousy calander on this thing is wrong!
grrr... i wonder im supposed to change it. Well, until i figure it out, i suppose its gonna be wrong dates and times till then.
Wow a whole sunday passed right by before i knew it!
Just drowned my indignance at Liverpool's loss in the shameless tv show of Lost in Space. My gosh. Can TV get any cornier? (actually, it can.. take a look at channel 8's serials).
Anyway, for the uneducated, Lost in Space is a sci-fi/family flick (emphasis on the FAMILY) about this smiley family going into space to save the earth. They get chased by monster techno spiders, pick up a cute chameleon monkey and crash land on a planet. A potentially good story, except they spoil it with goosebump raising family moments *shudder* The saving grace is Matt LeBlanc's commendable performance as the gung ho fighter pilot (i can NEVER spell pilot the first time i type it... i keep typing piolet. Dont ask.). Haha i sound like a movie critic. Maybe i SHOULD consider writing for Life!.
Going to venture into the unknown today: shall attempt to change the template for this blog *gasp* so people wont think im unoriginal. Also hoping to upload some pics and little net thingies here and there to spice up this blog. Maybe after tonight i can finally tell people the website address. Hahah! Wish me luck..

*Yawn* Sunday.
Sunday's have a lazy air about them.. i dunno
Cant believe Liverpool lost to Man U 0-4 last night.. thats injustice. What's with the refree anyway?
OK pple who know me know that im not a soccer fan.. i dont have cable and i can never stay up late to watch EPL matches. But we had a good ol fashioned guy's day in yesterday with chips, peanuts, Vanilla Coke (it rocks!) and the good ol TV.
Oh crap. Have to go to church now.. i'll talk more about it later.
Ciao!
Hmm. Wonder what the score for the Arsenal Aston Villa match was... im turning into a soccer fan. Help

Hey, i just realised why everyone's so enthu about this blog thingamajig.. its really quite addictive. I found myself waking up and wanting to post "i woke up at 10.42" but didnt because a) dat would require me to perform the enormous task of dragging my melted body (which has been fused to the cushions all the way to the computer and b) no one's gonna care what time i woke up. Heh.
Attempting to make my blog look professional and un-template-ish right now... just dragged my dusty html books off the shelf for any neat tricks... hmm. Apparantly not. I hate this template thing.
This Sars thing is stupid. We're having an orientation committee meeting on IRC to discuss the revised programme for our brand new ONE DAY orientation programme! ONE DAY!!! thats not orientation... thats a childcare centre programme! -sigh-
Well, at least the extended holiday's giving me time to do this blog thingie... hope i can finish it by tmr

Oh wow! I wonder who's going to be bothered to read this. But then again, who cares? This is the first time after 2 years im touching website stuff after my brief stint with HTML, which resulted in a really bad website called IceFyre's World. I got an idea of how bad it was when i visited it yesterday and saw the last entry was december 2001. Sad huh. So yes.. here i am, a brand new fresh attempt at creating a stylish, easy on the eyes, constantly updated website. And from the looks of some other blogs (what are blogs anyway? does it stand for something? Off the top of my head, Bernard Likes Other Girls. Hmm.) it seems even my busy friends in RJC dont have a problem of updating, so i hope its the same for me too. Okay. Now that i've posted my thingie what am i supposed to do?
