Can someone tell me whether the Blair Witch Project is a true story? I read the book with a whole bunch of evidence eg interviews, transcripts, photographs, newspaper articles on it today at the Esplanade Library. Friggin' creepy stuff. Sure hope i dont have to go anywhere near there for NS.
On a nice side, the Esplanade is sure as heck a nice place to spend a romantic evening. Cool breeze, jazzy mellow music, glittering lights from a dazzling skyline, soft lighting, dark and comfy spaces, not to mention the hoardes of couples sucking each other's lungs at the rooftop terrace (no, not us, we're smart enough to do it in private. Hahah! No no that was just a piece of scandalous writing and should not be taken seriously)
But it IS a beautiful place at night, nevertheless. Boyfriends, need someplace to take your gal? This is the place to be bruddas! 'Course, please dont all you go there at the same time: Isky and I were talking rubbish on the rooftop terrace yesterday when we bumped into Our Good Friend and His Girlfriend (not named to protect their identity). Thankfully, Good Friend and His Girlfriend are decent people and were just there to enjoy the music. So see? Hanky-panky on your mind or not, the esplanade is the best place to be at night. (plus, if you're a single chee-ko-peh, plenty of sggirls.com photo oppotunities available there as well, just as long as you dont take my picture or i'll impale you on a durian spike)
Hmm. Tomorrow there's a council farewell steamboat for people going to NS on the 13th. Sob. So sad, wont be seeing them much anymore. Ah NS, exciting, yet so sad at the same time. Good luck to all those going!
Remember to bring your toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, thick black framed plastic glasses (if you need them. I heard that you can only wear this kind of specs in the army. Is that true?), towel, lots of undies (briefs, preferably), slippers (not sandles) for bathroom trips, handphone batteries (since you cant charge handphones), FHM magazines to suck up to your friends and superiors (i just purchased my Janurary copy: includes a calendar and a planner!), and just in case your hair grows fast, shampoo.
There: all prepared to serve the nation. Two and a half years of National Slavery, here we come!
