Cruisin' Along

Its official: the best way to spend a holiday is aboard luxury liner superstar virgo with 8 other bestest council friends. 4 days of sun, sand, laughter, water, fantastic (and gobblilicious) food, and good ol fashioned fun. And just like how we toasted to everything under the sun during the gala dinner at Bella Vista (with two excellent red and white wines, i must add), i have a few toasts to offer myself:

Cheers to:
-Sunny afternoons jumping into a freezing pool and wincing as we sink into a piping hot jacuzzi.
-Stealing oily, fatty, but wonderfully tasty BBQ food.
-Trash talk in our cabins
-Sweating out in a gym whose weights seem unnaturally heavy and unshyingly posing sleeveless infront of a mirror.
-Late disco nights bugging the DJ to change from techno to R&B.
-The same irritating song playing in our cabins, along the corridors, in the restaurants, and in the pool, 24 hours a day for 4 days straight. "Too tooot too tooooot.."
-To the sunny shores of Langkawi and Phuket, with their diverse wildlife (we found an octopus!! And a crab!! and worms!! and no rubbish!) and their topless revellers (all fat and aunty-ish, unfortunately)
-To the crazed shopping spree, thanks to the girls, dashing from store to store to meet the one hour deadline.
-To being the absolute last in everything we do, from boarding the tour bus, to catching the absolutely last boat, to making 3 tour buses wait impatiently for us, to gorging ourselves at the Gala dinner till we were told to leave cause the staff had to prepare for the next dinner, to squeezing the last drop of our money by refusing to disembark till they announced "please leave the boat" three times.
-To newfound RJ friends: Jamie, Xue Ying, Zhu, Fabien, Jansen, Li Jun (is that how you spell it?) With friendship formed in a sweaty basketball match (sorry we hurt your toe jansen), and on the dancefloor of the Galaxy of the Stars. And not to forget Claudia, whose father shares my name!
-To needlessly throwing money away at the casino, from tempting $1 machines to addictive jackpot machines. Stupid casinos, now i know why they're all so damn rich.
-To learning how to gamble at the majong table (i only lost 50 cents k, not bad for a first timer!)
-To stupid arcade sessions playing inane guitar games, 6-step DDR, tiring Point Blank, and a bloody disappointing Time Crisis 2 (cant believe fu and i died at the last boss, never happened to us before. Grr)
-To late night sinful supper munches at the buffet table, i swear i've gained 4 kg.
-To the MATRIX REVOLUTIONS, i finally got to watch it! Tho it was a tad disappointing compared to the first two.
-To kuansian and his bartender bottle throwing skills, sometimes done in, ahem, revealing situations.
-To kuansian and his hilarious Thai accent, ever heard someone say "F*** you" in a thai accent before? Just ask him.
-To amazingly beautiful sunsets, and debates on why the sun is on the wrong side of the ship and whether the sun gets swallowed by the sea or not.
-To the fantastic Star Cruise staff, for replacing my (supposed) lost card with another with no extra charge, to the extremely polite waitresses (we met a lovely Fillipino waitress named Magarita, she's so cute! Roxanne fell in love with her), to quirky tour guides, one with a funny accent, and the other who's a transvestite.
-To the best bunch of friends in the world, the 25th Student Council, especially us, the Fellowship of the Cruise: Nolan, Eugene, Kuansian, Liangfu, Allan, Jennifer, Roxanne and Fiona. I'll always cherish the memories.

Cheers, everyone!
