Lessons learnt when meeting up with an aquaintance who became a friend:
1. My blog is more heavily scrutinized than i thought.
2. My blog has been read and analyzed by more people than i thought.
3. I have a very bad memory, but you knew that already.
4. A woman's perspective is essential in grad night shopping, especially if it involves fussy turning down of okay-looking outfits to find that perfect one.
5. Baby talk is most effective when replacing the "r"s with "w"s, like "twee! bwanch! woot! weaf!"
6. The best way to know what perfume you're wearing is to smell your own hair.
7. Tampines Mall toilets are one of the best in singapore.
8. I finally know what tank tops look like. They're probably called tank tops cause they're squarish, look have a rigid shape and hence a tank (?)
9. When in doubt, bring a bag along. You'll need it.
10. Guys should ALWAYS carry the shopping bags, and not drop them especially if they contain a handphone.
11. The Nokia 6100 is a very soft phone, can use it as a pillow (?)
12. Bulky shopping bags in a bookstore are worse than a bull in a china shop.
13. Shopping bags are extremely useful for shielding against the rain. (Not for me of course)
14. When attempting to get from Point A to Point B, which involves running in the rain, always plot your route first before running, or you'll end up getting wetter.
15. Women's shoes and men's shoes are NOT found in the same department.
16. Girls with long hair have to tie their hair before eating.
17. To avoid scandalous gossip, always forewarn anyone you meet that an outing can be totally platonic, with no implications whatsoever. When will the world learn?
18. There's a much faster way to get to the esplanade bay by using the escalator and walking outside. (d'oh! didnt know that)
19. Brother bear's brother is NOT his mother. (go figure that one yourself). Disney films always have a corny, goosebump-inducing ending.
20. I believe i know alot of people.
21. The Fish and Co fishy christmas tree makes an ideal present.
22. A guy should ALWAYS rush when he visits the washroom, just in case (horrors!) the girl finishes before him and has to wait for him! (k that didnt happen.. i was early both times!)
23. Cartier is the name of a world famous jewellery store! Wow i didnt know that!
24. A girl always knows when you're tired, even if you try to hide your yawn. (but that doesnt mean that the company's boring!)
25. Making a new friend IS a great feeling, emails can form a friendship after all. A platonic friend of the opposite gender to yak to is a simple pleasure of life. So kelly, thanks for a great day! :)
Wait wait, stop stop, stop thinking that im having an affair or something. You understand e word "platonic"? Yeah baby.. platonic! All you stupid people with sneering looks of "stupid flirt", maybe you should learn something bout that too. My girl had full knowledge of my outing, she was out with her friends as well! And it doesnt take a genius to know that yep, i love her very much. :)
So there! Cant a guy go out with a female friend and not be e subject of suspicion and controversy?
